After leaving the first hospital which told us they couldn’t help me for another 2 days we checked out and went to a different hospital. We had immediate attention and the ER people ay Cabrini were all over me in haste. I was taken for a chest Xray. The lower half of both my lungs doesn’t show up. It should have been black (air space) but the lower lobes of the lungs are collapsed. Within a couple hours Dr. Little was working on me to install a lung tap into my left lung to drain the fluid measuring 2.2 Liters. A very uncomfortable process but the fluid that came out of my lungs blew me away! I felt like my chest had been sort of heavy, but I had no idea how much fluid was in my pleural cavities. My right lung was drained the next day and 2.1 Liters was drained. In total 4.3 liters of fluid. Go pick up a gallon and 1/2 of milk and you’ll have an idea of how much fluid was in my lungs. No wonder I was having a hard time breathing!!

Resolved Anxiety with PSYCH-K®

Anxiety is rampant in the lives of people across the world. If you ask others why they feel anxious responses of “I don’t know, I just am” may be heard. Generalized anxiety is experienced when someone feels anxious but cannot put a finger on what is causing it. Thus, they don’t know how to resolve the anxiousness. If you know what is making you feel anxious action can be taken to resolve that cause. What can we do when we experience generalized anxiety? 

From a purely physical perspective we can exercise and exert ourselves. Unless the anxiety is from a physical cause, it is unlikely that physical exertion will have much lasting benefit. If you do exercise and it helps, then great. If the anxiety returns you know that exercise alone won’t resolve it.

People often seek solace through another physical process such as eating foods that are comforting or filling in hopes of resolving the anxiousness. As we know, this does not offer much resolve. We may find ourselves back in the kitchen with our hand in the proverbial cookie jar seeking more solace from food.

A third physical way people deal with anxiety is through chemical means, this could include food. Alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and other powerful chemicals may be sought after to alleviate anxiety, but these too may disappoint us and don’t work. We may create dependency on the external chemical sources of relief.

Emotional approaches can be helpful if they lead to the discovery of the source of the anxiety. If not, a good cry, scream, or beating a pillow may help us vent the pent-up energy created from the anxiety. However, relief may be fleeting as the cause of the anxiety has not been identified. 

Mental options such as counseling or a good visit with a caring friend can be helpful. Sometimes talking through what is going on can lead to the discovery of the cause of the anxiety. The old saying “two heads are better than one” can lead us into the sought-after discovery of the issue. If the discussion also reveals action steps to resolve the cause, we may get back into some level of control again. Taking time alone, away from the buzz of everyday issues, can allow us to think through things and arrive at the cause. We can simply be too distracted by the tasks and pressures of life to be able to think.

Sometimes we can rely on our spiritual connection with God/Higher Self/Universe through prayer or meditation to help resolve anxiety. Belief in a power greater than ourselves and trusting that power to handle the cause can free us from anxiety

Better Relationships with PSYCH-K®

One might ask, “How can PSYCH-K® improve my relationships?” Great question. Let’s consider that we are who we are because of the beliefs we have about ourselves and others! PSYCH-K® helps us change self-limiting beliefs we have within our subconscious mind. We typically believe all types of interesting things about relationships and the person we have the relationship with and how we interact others in our relationships.

 Let’s start with ourselves first. If I believe that having a relationship is hard, problematic, confrontational, filled with pain and difficulty that will eventually end in divorce then guess what? I will end up creating all these outcomes in my relationship because of what I believe.

 To have a great relationship I must examine what I believe about having a great relationship. Do I believe that having a quality relationship is hard? If so, why do I believe that to be true? I might say, “My mother always told me relationships are hard and painful, just get used to it.” As children, without anyone telling us anything, we pick up on all kinds of beliefs held within our family, including beliefs about building and maintaining relationships. Sometimes our parents do tell us their beliefs about relationships. Often, we simply perceive what is going on in the family and our subconscious mind soaks up all the family beliefs, spoken or non-spoken. Incredibly, damaging beliefs are typically passed from one generation to the next!

 I can choose and different path and reprogram my subconscious mind with new, life enhancing and sustaining beliefs about relationships.  “Quality relationships are beautiful, easy to build, sustain and bring great happiness into my life and the life of my loved one/spouse/partner, etc.” Whatever I program into my subconscious mind is what I bring about. We have only to look at our current reality to understand what our limiting beliefs are. If we don’t like what we see and experience in our lives then ask, “What beliefs are creating my reality”?

 What about the other person in the relationship? Can we make him/her change because we make changes in our lives? We can’t force anyone to change and become what we want. However, a couple of outcomes frequently happen. One, the other person stops reacting to our “old programs” because we are no longer operating from them. S/He may ask, “What has happened to you? You’re so much easier to get along with!” True, because the partner is no longer in conflict with your old subconscious programs.

 The second outcome is that your partner may not like the new you. Perhaps they take delight in being able to argue, fight and wrestle with you about being in control. You have changed. You may no longer want to engage in these behaviors because you understand how damaging they were to yourself and others. If this is the case, you can choose to revert and become the wrestling partner again or you can maintain the new you! If this choice prevails, it is likely the relationship will end because you no longer agree to participate in damaging beliefs and patterns of behavior.

 In relationships it’s helpful to love ourselves enough to do what is right for our own well-being, no matter the cost. Doing anything less than this will lead to self-betrayal and self-diminishment. We will not be able to be happy or at peace because we are not fully honest with ourselves.

 If a relationship ends then we need to also look at the beliefs we have about divorce, being single again (at any age), starting over, possibly going back to work, etc. What do we think about our body, sexuality, interests, etc? We will come to know ourselves at a much deeper level. We enter a new chapter of our life and perhaps for the first time, we choose to write the new chapter with new beliefs as our new subconscious operating system. Doing so will create a different, beneficial outcome because we move forward towards something we desire.

 It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks, especially when we have the power and ability to update and change the subconscious mind with new programs to improve and enhance our relationships with the use of PSYCH-K® processes PSYCH-K® really does create better relationships, especially with our self!

Imagine having 10 empty glasses in front of you (representing people and projects who need you) and one empty pitcher (representing you) to fill the glasses from. How many glasses can you fill with water if your pitcher is empty? The obvious answer if none! This simple illustration is quite powerful. It shows us that we cannot begin to assist another until we first fill our pitcher! This means we must take care of ourselves first. We must make ourselves the priority in our life and keep refilling our pitcher frequently so we can continue to be of service to others when appropriate.

Being at peace is our natural state of being. Anything that disrupts our natural state of peace is a stressor. Stressors show up in varying degrees. We need to consider which stressors are worth having in our lives and which are not. This is where we consider priorities. The person who lives with incredible demands will break at some point. High levels of demand are not sustainable for any person. Choices must be made about what is truly important and what can be let go of.

For instance, if a man has life partner that belittles him, beats him down, lies to him, cheats on him, manipulates him, etc. he will at some point either die from the abuse or he will have to pull himself out of the hell he is living in and do what he can to save his life. At first there will be new stressors to experience as he moves out of the home, learns to cook for himself, makes friends and develops a new support community outside the partnership. He will find healing through coaches, studying self help methods, etc. However, these new stressors are often short lived, and they are considered Eustress (beneficial stress) because they are life giving stressors that help a person grow. We are faced with choices in all areas of our lives, throughout our lives. To live in peace, rather than live in hell, is a choice worth making.

Inner peace is available to us all! Once we understand that it is within us and is part of us, we can relax our worry about finding it outside of ourselves. Nobody and no “thing” can give us the peace we desire to experience. We need to relax and discover peace inside ourselves and know that peace is already ours, with every breath we take. Our return home to a peaceful state is a short journey. We must remember we are the peace we seek in the world. How does PSYCH-K help us achieve a healthier body? The first thing I recommend is to read or listen on audio book to Dr. Bruce Lipton’s, The Biology of Belief. He explains in great detail about the connection between our beliefs and our human biology. Simply stated, unresolved traumatizing experiences, negative thoughts, and damaging beliefs, are active in our subconscious mind, causing the body to experience stress and diminishing health. The mind triggers stress hormones to be released in the body. The long-term effect of the continuous flow of these “stress” hormones causes our immune system to break down, resulting in all varying of dis-ease processes.

 Health is a NATURAL state of being! We are born with an incredible immune system designed to keep us healthy and well for a lifetime! We are designed to handle short term stressors. After the stressful situation passes, the body’s chemical environment is supposed to return to a normal, non-stressed state of being. However, if the stressor is not brought to proper resolve the body will continue to pump stress hormones which lead to dis-ease states.

 The body is the densest of our systems. Many people experience themselves as a physical body and think they are only that. However, we are truly an incredible electro-magnetic energy system. The physical body generates and radiates an electro-magnetic field that extends well beyond our physical body.

 Our energy field can be damaged by others when we experience upsetting situations, conversations or physical or verbal attacks by others. Our emotions are part of our energy system and when we feel emotionally hurt this damage is often expressed through the physical body.

 Young children are very sensitive to their environment. They are easily affected by energetic disruptions within the home such as heated discussions or full-on fights. After such an energy disturbance the young child may develop symptoms such as a cold, flu or worse. Their system is trying to purge the distressing energy they experienced within the family situation.

 When we are at work and are under a lot of pressure, the pressure we feel is our energy being upset or suppressed. We can’t wait to leave for the day and get home to a calm environment. Some people go to the bar attempting to soothe or numb the energetic distress of the workday. Yet, the alcohol further suppresses the energy field. If drinking is frequently repeated, this additional suppression can cause other health problems.

 We are energy beings and to assist ourselves with healing we need to bring into our life that which enhances and raises our energy field to maintain a vibrant state of health. This, of course, includes the people we hang out with. We need to be around happy, content, positive people who engage in life enhancing activities and behaviors. When we are around these people we feel better in their presence, and for good reason. We are enjoying their “great vibes” and our system aligns with their higher energy, which has a beneficial effect on our own health.

 We might recognize we hang out with high vibe people but never change our own behaviors. We become dependent on their good vibes to make us feel better. However, this becomes a parasitic relationship and is not sustainable. The high vibe person will, at some point, notice the energy drain of the low vibe person and recognize they are only feeding the parasitic relationship. Once this occurs, the high vibe person tends to leave the relationship.

 Seeking higher energy relationships is a great idea in the short term. This can help us change our perspective and remind us that we are also capable of regaining our own high-vibe status. It is our personal responsibility to do this corrective work. We need to understand why we have allowed a diminished energy state to exist and take appropriate action to correct for it.

 Correction of our energy field can be accomplished in many ways. We need to understand ourselves first as energy beings. We also need to understand that our energy is affected not only by our emotions, people around us, the work we like or dislike, but also our state of mind. The mind is a very powerful thing and carries with it a very powerful force. We need to understand what is going on in our mind and how that effects our energy field, because that energy field also affects our health.

 

Our thoughts are held within our subconscious mind. These thoughts may be beliefs we hold about ourselves and others. Our beliefs are intensely tied to emotions. Our beliefs can hinder us or catapult us forward. They can support us or destroy us, our relationships, and all that matters to us. To be in the best health we need to be operating from positive beliefs that are life enhancing and life sustaining. If we look at our lives and see only frustration, despair, anger, regret and other negative feelings we can surmise that we are operating from beliefs of lack and limitation, which diminishes our health.

 Back to the book, The Biology of Belief, by Dr. Bruce Lipton. Whatever we hold within the subconscious mind is our operating system. This has a direct affect upon the biology of the human body and its energy system. Everything we think and do affects our energy and the health of the physical body. So, to have a healthier body we must maintain healthy thoughts and beliefs. This is where PSYCH-K comes in like a shining light! This is exactly what PSYCH-K does!
