The PSYCH-K® history is quite fascinating. PSYCH-K® was originated by Robert M. Williams in Denver, Colorado in December 1988/early 1989. Rob Williams has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Masters Degree in Counseling and Personal Services from the University of Colorado. He is the President of The Myrddin Corporation, and Director of the PSYCH-K® Centre International.

Rob Williams was a former corporate executive who tired of the corporate life. For the first 14 years of his career, Mr. Williams held management positions in the backpacking, energy management and telecommunications industries. After experiencing a spiritual awakening during this time, he decided to move out of the corporate business environment and into a life of service as a professional psychotherapist.

Rob found the accepted counseling philosophy of the day lacking in spiritual essence and overall effectiveness. As a therapist, he felt frustrated his clients weren’t making the leaps in growth he knew they could make. He studied many non-standard modalities for human change, both in the ancient and modern healing worlds. From his studies, a series of intuitive insights were offered (a spiritual download) which became the body of work now known as PSYCH-K®. Initially he tested the new subconscious change PSYCH-K® processes with family and friends to see if he would get the results he hoped were possible. Indeed, his expectations were met through enthusiastic participants who shifted their lives to desired states of well being.

Now, some 26+ years later PSYCH-K® is spanning the globe. In the last 15+ years it has really taken root. There are now approximately 41 Certified PSYCH-K® Instructors who have gone through rigorous training.

PSYCH-K® is now available in many countries. Many wellness practitioners travel from the other side of the world to receive training in the various levels of PSYCH-K®.

While Rob Williams never expected to be the conveyor of a worldwide wellness modality, he is now beginning to be recognized for his contribution to society around the globe. It is hard to imagine the incredible number of people who will receive life-enhancing subconscious change benefits and all the communities that will be blessed by this one man’s vision. But, isn’t that the way all great things begin?
